About

I am an herbalist, flower essence practitioner and a certified aromatherapist.

My path began in the early 2000’s when I had a health challenge. Medicine wasn’t helping and all of my tests were coming back normal. At the time, what was then called alternative medicine was just gaining momentum. I decided to go see an herbalist. Through working with her, I fell in love with natural health and knew I wanted to be her when I grew up.

In 2006, I began my herbal studies and learning aromatherapy, earning my Family Herbalist Certificate in 2007. It was during this time that I learned a holistic approach, meaning that for a person to truly heal that their whole being (body, mind, and spirit) needs to be considered.

So I began studying different modalities that would address the mind and spirit and not just the body. In 2010, I became a Bach Flower Registered Practitioner. I also finally got around to getting my certification in aromatherapy.

During this time, I kept up with my herbal studies and received my Community Herbalist Certificate in 2011 and Diploma in Herbal Studies in 2014. Okay, so this probably sounds like a bit overkill but if you even have learned the slightest little bit about herbs, you will see how much there is to learn.

I consider myself a lifelong student and believe in continuing education. I continue to go to workshops, conferences, and classes as well as keep up with different natural health modalities and the ones mentioned above.

I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order.
